The gel-like ShockLite material feels almost silky in hand, yet it gripped securely when I fumbled it off the couch onto tile. Survived that 6.6-foot test without a scratch, and the slim profile still slides into my pocket easily.

Dropped it from my jacket pocket onto pavement the other day and the phone didn't even flinch, so that 2m claim feels legit. The ShockLite material has just enough grip that it doesn't slide off my desk anymore, but it's still slim enough to slip into a tight jeans pocket.
