Dropped my phone on concrete last week and the case took the hit without a scratch on the phone. The micro-etched matte back gives just enough grip, and it's still slim enough to slide into a jeans pocket.
I was worried such a slim case wouldn't protect my phone, but the soft ShockLite perimeter absorbed a drop onto pavement without a scratch. The fit is perfect and it doesn't add any bulk at all.
The micro-etched matte back is a nice touch, it doesn't show fingerprints at all. Despite the ShockLite perimeter, the case slides into my pocket easily and feels way slimmer than I expected for something this protective.
